Diabetes and vitamin D supplements
Recent researches proved that the intake of vitamin D supplements may reduce the chances of developing type I diabetes in the later stages of life.
According to the scientists, it is better to give vitamin D supplements for children from the childhood itself. Vitamin D which is found in fish and eggs and made by the exposure of sunlight may reduce the chances of developing type I diabetes up to 30 percent.
This was reported after the analysis of five studies across the world. The orator for Diabetes UK said that this finding is interesting, but more researches are required.
